Bhubaneswar: BJD supremo and LoP Naveen Patnaik arrived in Bhubaneswar today around 1.00 pm. He had been to Mumbai for surgery for cervical arthritis.
According to reports, Naveen Patnaik landed at the Biju Patnaik International Airport in Bhubaneswar today. His homecoming news has made the party workers extremely happy and they are mulling over giving a rousing welcome to the party president.
After his discharge from the Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital in Mumbai on July 7, the former Odisha Chief Minister stayed in Mumbai for physiotherapy.
Patnaik was admitted to the hospital where he underwent a medical procedure for cervical arthritis on June 22 after his personal doctor Dr Ramakant Panda coordinated for the same. Following his successful surgery, Patnaik was kept in the ICU but was shifted to the private room of the hospital on June 25.
As his health condition became stable, the fomer Odisha CM got discharged from the hospital with doctor’s advice on July 7.
